What is your story ?

What Is Your Story? I remember my childhood was filled with my grandmother’s stories. I can recall every single one of them; remembering exactly how she would tell each story with her calm and warm voice. The lessons I learned from her stories still remain effective in my life. Back then, I used to believe in those stories, they had formed my reality. What is essential to understand now is that those were stories of my childhood, not my adulthood. Everything you attract into your life is a reflection of the story you believe and keep telling yourself. The stories we tell ourselves shape who we were, who we are, and who we will become. These stories shape our attitudes, beliefs, self-perception and so on. In life, there may be certain stories we like to tell ourselves repeatedly. It is important to understand that not all stories are meant for you and not all stories are true. It is possible for a story to be built on a lie or a fear. I call these stories fiction; they do not enhanc...

I'm a big Kid now ?

Somewhere between “ 8 toffees for 1 rupee” and “1 toffee for 8 rupees”, we grew up! Somewhere between “stealing chocolate from our sister” and “Buying chocolate for her children”, we grew up! Somewhere between “Just five more mins Maa” and “Pressing the snooze button”, we grew up! Somewhere between “Crying out loud just to get what we want” and “Holding our tears when we are broken inside”, we grew up! Somewhere between “I want to grow up” and “I want to be a child again”, we grew up! Somewhere between “Let's meet and plan” and “Let's plan and meet”, we grew up! Somewhere between "Being afraid of our parents" and "Praying for our parents" we finally grew up And as we grew up, we realize; How silently, our lives have changed..

Responsibilities of a Mentor - Mentoring theory

Who is your mentor? Every great achiever is inspired by a great mentor. Mentorship is the best relationship you can't afford not to have. Every successful person and those with a positive mindset, are being mentored at some point. I firmly believe success is predicated upon having a mentor. The Five E's of a Mentor: #Experience: Receiving personal mentorship and guidance from someone who’s been where you're trying to go will be an invaluable experience for you. #Expediting the process of development: A mentor is equipped to accelerate the time and shorten the duration of where you currently are to where you are trying to be. Mentors expedite the journey by providing feedback and real-time accountability. #Evaluating your progress and focusing on strategies: A mentor challenges you to become your best. #Elevating the positive environment: When we come across challenges, we can lose momentum. Mentors are there to help bring priorities back into focus by ke...

Winners

You want to win? You want success in your life? Well to do all that you need these things in your life. You need to plan. You need to execute. You have to never give up, no matter how hard. And most importantly you must expect results. A man ones said and I quote "TO WIN, YOU MUST PLAN TO WIN AND EXPECT TO WIN". All of you are winners and all of you can succeed. You can do it!. When you feel like quitting. You remember why you started. When you feel like quitting. You remember there are many people that you have to prove wrong. When you feel like quitting you don't quit, because if you do then you are a loser and losers don't succeed. But keep pushing forward and success will soon come knocking on your door.

Life is a challenge !!

Every single person has to believe that life is hard. Life never goes the way you want it to go. Life will be filled with happiness and will be filled with terrible situations. In life, you will have to sacrifice a lot. From the moment a little kid begins to leave their parents home to go to kindergarten, go to primary school. Life will never be the same, it is then that the struggles will begin. No more breaks, no more being with mommy 24/7. It is now time to think of life to think about the future. You will find yourself alone at times but you should never give up on yourself. You keep a motto that says “better days are coming” and you believe in it. Always strive for success. Keep the right friends. Never put all your eggs in the same basket. Work hard. That is why we all are here. We have to work to reach places.

Joy of Living your Own Life

......It then dawned on me, isn't that what happens in life when we focus on competing with co-workers, neighbours, friends, family, trying to outdo them or trying to prove that we are more successful or more important and in the bargain we miss on our happiness within our own surroundings? We spend our time and energy running after them and we miss out on our own paths to our given destination. The problem with unhealthy competition is that it's a never-ending cycle. There will always be somebody ahead of you, someone with a better job,🏃 nicer car, 🚗 more money in the bank, 💲 more education, 📖 a prettier wife, 👩 a more handsome husband, 👨 better behaved children, 👪 better circumstances and 💢 better conditions etc.💪 But one important realisation is that You can be the best that you can be when you are not competing with anyone. Some people are insecure because they pay too much attention to what others are, where others are going, wearing and drivin...

Leadership Within

True leadership starts from within. The ability to manage and lead your life-priorities is of critical importance in order to influence and add value to the people around you. Self-Leadership is an inside job and starts with the way we intentionally influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. 7 Keys to Successful Self-Leadership: 1. “Knowing Your #Values:” Every decision we make – whether it is professional or personal – reflects our core set of individual values. When you recognize your core values - tough decisions are easily made. The first time I did my “core value exercise,” I personally an extremely uncomfortable process, it was one of the most illuminating and selected 5 out of 43 value cards, within three to four minutes. While this was unforgettable life experiences. From that day forward, I framed my mission the right choices in life or business as long as our values have been statement and core values, and still reflect upon them daily. The out...
